I want you and I to be part of a miracle.
When Cancer is BEAT, I want you and I to have been a small part of that miracle.
My Team, Riders for Ryders, was created in 2009 by Jimi Brocket, a man who lost his young son to brain cancer. Over the last almost 10 years, it has grown into 'The Big Red Train'... well over 100 members and now over $3.5m raised. Inspirational, fantastic people, every single one.
Modern medicine is pushing cancer STEADILY BACK, every day... twenty years ago, survival and recovery rates were abysmal compared to TODAY. Because of research, and the myriad ways it is funded by efforts like The Ride to Conquer Cancer, the battle is being WON. It's far from over, and it will continue to take MUCH more than just hope to be successful... but for every cancer story of human tragedy and suffering, there are more and more stories of hope and recovery, every year.
You and I can make a difference.
Any donation is a meaningful nod to anybody you know that has been touched by cancer.
Thank you... please donate NOW, it will only take a minute.
• Supported more than 47 projects, investigating more than 50 different cancer types.
• Provided more than 900 people a chance to take part in the world’s most advance genomic cancer trial, POG. The Personalized Onco-Genomics Program allows world-leading scientists and doctors to map the genomic structure of a patient’s cancer to help determine potential treatments based on a genetic rationale. Funds raised through The Ride are enabling BC Cancer to continue enrolling patients into this groundbreaking clinical study.
• Helping to bring cutting-edge new immunotherapy treatments to patients.
You can take great pride in knowing that all of this groundbreaking research is taking place in your backyard thanks to people like you who choose to ride. This is just a sample of the research that the BC Cancer Foundation funded with support from the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
