Welcome to My Personal Page
We all know someone affected by cancer and the reason I am taking on this challenge is because I lost my father at the age of 16. The 2019 Ride To Conquer Cancer marks 22 years that he left us too soon. On November 10th 1997, my father lost his battle with colon cancer. He was a terrific father of 5 and I will be thinking of him throughout The Ride.
I also joined The Ride because devoting a weekend to cycling through BC is one small way I can make a big difference for cancer patients locally and around the world.
But it’s not the distance I go that will make a lasting impact… It’s the donation you provide to the BC Cancer Foundation through my Ride. Whatever you’re able to give, THANK YOU. Every dollar you donate means a dollar more to the world leading scientists and doctors at BC Cancer who are conquering cancer.
I really believe we can conquer cancer together, and it’s through your generosity that we’ll be able to do it!
2018 was a memorable Ride - my wife Anthea returned to the 10-year Anniversary Ride after a hiatus from having our blessed son, Ryland.
Churchill said, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."
This will be my 4th Ride to Conquer Cancer. Please please contribute to this powerful movement with a donation. Funds raised through the Ride to Conquer Cancer will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at the BC Cancer Agency, bringing hope to cancer patients in B.C. and beyond.
Thank you in advance for your continued support.
