Help Me Hit the Road and Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer!
On August 26 and 27, 2017, I will be riding in the Ride to Conquer Cancer and cycling the 250km-stretch from Vancouver to Seattle through the beautiful Pacific region.
So, why am I riding in the Ride to Conquer Cancer? I am riding because this disease took two of my grandparents too soon, before I had the honour of getting to know them. I am riding because, in my adult life, I have never had the opportunity to sit with them, laugh with them, learn from them and tell them that I love them. I am riding because I have watched this disease impact the lives of other family members and close friends far too many times, including claiming the lives of two of my best friends' fathers before we even turned 30. Ultimately, I am riding so fewer families have to face these realities.
Please help me support the BC Cancer Foundation in this happy, healthy way. I have a long road (figuratively, physically and financially) ahead of me but I'm feeling strong and excited! Whether you can make a donation or just share some words of encouragement, I appreciate it all. If you choose to donate, your money will contribute to support life-saving research and enhancements to care at the BC Cancer Agency, bringing hope to cancer patients in B.C. and beyond.
Thank you in advance for all of your love and support,
