MY PERSONAL RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER

Please Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer®
I am riding for my sister Nancy who is living with brain cancer.
Early last fall we received the devastating news my sister Nancy had a mass in her brain. Surgery would be required immediately. It was revealed she has Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM), an agressive brain cancer. You may have heard this term as it is the same cancer Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip is battling.
It is shocking news to hear that someone you love has cancer. The feelings of grief, sadness, and helplessness are present every day. What to say, what to do, how to help are all desperate questions.
That is why I'm am riding this year in the RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER. It is a two-day cycling journey, from Vancouver to Seattle. A ride of over 200 kilometers. It will be challenging in many ways, but not as challenging as the daily struggles my sister has in adjusting to her life with brain cancer.
Your donation supports life-saving research and enhancements to care at the BC Cancer Agency. Recent news tells us more and more people are beating cancer because of advancements in treatment and care.
You can choose any amount as a donation. Perhaps make it a significant number........$200 for every kilometer of the ride, $150 to commemorate Canada's birthday, $60 to celebrate a special birthday, $25 for a significant anniversary.
Please support my RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER. Having friends and family contribute to this cause means a lot to me.
Thank you!
