Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer®
I am pleased to announce that for the first time I am participating in the BC edition of the Ride To Conquer Cancer. In the spring of 2016 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The support I received from my family, my friends, my company and the BC Cancer Agency has been unbelievable. I will never be able to properly express how grateful I am to everyone and how much easier you made my battle. I feel extremely honoured to be a part of the Gulf Pacific team. I have not been on a bike since I was a kid but when Ryan Russell asked me if I wanted to be a part of a team and do the Ride to Conquer Cancer I could not say no. This is a small way for me to give back and say thank you.
I am not only riding for myself, but I am also riding for my brother Chris who was diagnosed with melanoma and my step mom Maureen and those of my friends who have also battled breast cancer. We are the lucky ones and have successfully won the battle. I am also riding in memory of my mom Wendy, her mom Irene, my mother in law Conchita and our good friend Anthony Kot who all lost their lives to cancer far to early in life.
I have had a lot of fun with training for the ride with my sister in law Sara and her sister Bessie. This has been an incredible experience. I am grateful for the BC Cancer Foundation and their commitment to saving lives. Please contribute to this powerful movement with a donation. Funds raised through the Ride to Conquer Cancer will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at the BC Cancer Agency, bringing hope to cancer patients in B.C. and beyond.
Thank you in advance for your support.
