Because laughter is the best medicine
Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer
Cancer sucks. It just does.
We have all lost so many family and friends to cancer. Cancer research helped my three, awesome, laughter loving uncles to survive. That’s 100%! We need more of these kind of success stories.
The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the BC Cancer Agency, is a two-day, 250 km cycling ride through the beautiful Pacific region from Vancouver to Seattle (ending with a killer hill) taking place this August. Funds raised will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at the BC Cancer Agency, bringing hope to cancer patients everywhere. And for a future with a cure for cancer.
Many of you know that I helped train (as critical mass) with the Village Idiots Ride to Conquer Cancer Team last year. You'd love them. The big gut busting laughs, encouragement in the face of big hills and other battles we thought were impossible. The sharing of the stories that inspired them to ride and the quiet commitment to do something meaningful to fight cancer.
This year I ride with them and for all of us in the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
