Kiran's Ride to Conquer Cancer
Support My 250 km Ride to Conquer Cancer
Why have I made the decision to ride my bike to Seattle over the course of two days and many, many kilometres? Because I'm a dummy that's why.
Just kidding. Partially kidding. I am a dummy in general, but this is probably one of the better decisions I've made in a while. We all know someone that's been affected by cancer, whether it be a parent, a sibling, an aunt, a friend or even a distant acquaintance. The stats are getting worse in terms of acquiring this terrible disease, and we still don't have a damn cure. There's a lot of smart people out there working on it, and I couldn't think of a better place for my money (and yours) to go to, to help further that work.
This is going to be one of the most challenging things I've done in my short 28 years of life. But imagine only getting 28. Imagine getting less. Imagine not even getting the chance to imagine, because life is yanked away from you.
If you knew that your dollar could make a dent, or even an ounce of progress in the fight, why wouldn't you donate? Any and everything counts guys.
Thank you for believing in me enough to help. Let's do this.
