Cut for a Cure: Rob Steciuk - Ride to Conquer Cancer
Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer®
I have been growing my hair for 28 months. I have organized a "Cut for a Cure" at OKM, the school where I teach, where I will donate my hair to a joint wig for a youth from BC who is currently battling cancer. I just need to raise my $2,500 to be able to cut the hair. Your donation has double impact this year, as the money stays here in Kelowna and my hair stays here in BC. The "Cut for a Cure" date is June 8th. I need your support!
This is my second year partipating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer. I felt that I could no longer be a by-standard in the fight for cancer. Both my grandmother (Helen) and step-grandfather (Jerry) on my father's side passed away from cancer. Mutliple family members on my wife's side of the family have passed away from cancer. As well, my mother and aunt are survivors. My mom is currently battling a form of cancer.
It is never to late to take up the fight and make a difference.
I know many of my friends and family already support the fight against cancer in their own ways. Anything you can donate would be appreciated.
