A Ride For Jeremy's Dad and Grandma
What else can I do?
2017 has been a devastating year for my friends and family. My son lost his father, and I lost my mother, both to cancer. Both far too soon. In this year alone I have seen how this disease has impacted the lives of my dear friends Heather and Anna who both have had to say goodbye to their parents far too soon. This campaign has opened up conversation with old friends who have also suffered loss from cancer either directly and have survived to those who only have weeks to live. The list is too long and I want to help!!
This year I am going to fight back. I am casting my net near and far to people who I know well and those that I have lost touch with. The one thread that is common is life, love and family, young and old. I want to raise money for a cure so that one day soon we will be able to conquer cancer or at least have better options to extend and improve the quality of life for those that are suffering.
Requestinng donations for the Ride to Conquer Cancer, awkward yes, but a can I do this alone... no. So that is why I am reaching out to each person in my network near and far to help achieve the ultimate goal of this event, and that is to help find a cure for cancer through the ongoing research and development so that cancer will no longer take so many lives and impact so many families and their friends.
I am going to ride 250 kilometres and raise money for cancer research. What else can I do? I ride for Jeremy who lost his father, and grandma as well as for everyone that I know.
I need your help. I have to raise $2500.00 to do this ride and I don't have much time.
