Why I Ride to Help Conquer Cancer
As we live longer in an increasingly stressful and polluted world, cancer affects us all. I am the spouse of a cancer survivor and recently lost one of my closest friends, Laurence O’Neill, to cancer. On my mother’s side, one of my uncles, my grandfather and great-grandfather all died of lymphoma. The number of my male friends and acquaintances who have suffered prostate cancer, approaches being countless.
I have committed myself to the Ride to Conquer Cancer because I believe the British Columbia Cancer Foundation makes a difference and is deserving of our support. I hope you will help me to help the Foundation and the good work it does.
I thank you for your support and wish you good health and happiness in the future.
