Welcome to My Personal Page
This is my third year doing the ride, and I am excited about riding again to Seattle.
For many years I have been an active participant in charity and fundraising activities in order to raise awareness of cancer, but let me tell you, I've found that my whole perspective towards those activities has changed now that I know someone personally who has had and died from the disease.
My father-in-law was diagnosed with Stage 4 Brain Cancer in October 2014. He underwent two surgeries but as you may know, there's no cure for those kinds of cancer and he passed away on June 05, 2015, less than eight months after his diagnosis. I can’t believe that a very healthy, happy man like my father-in-law could get cancer. It felt awful having to watch someone close to me fade away.
I am riding my bike to Seattle, hoping that the money I raise could be helpful to others suffering from this terrible illness and to give them a better chance for survival. I am riding my bike and I know that whatever pain I go through in the two-day ride will in no way compare to the pain that you feel when you lose your beloved ones.
Please support me on my ride by donating to this big cause.
Thanks for being supportive and don’t hesitate to pass this message along to your family and friends.
