Ryan Slater's 2017 Ride to Conquer Cancer
Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer®
Welcome to my Personal Page! The Ride to Conquer Cancer presented by Silver Wheaton benefiting BC Cancer Foundation, is a two-day cycling journey, through the beautiful Pacific region taking place in the summer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!
This year I will be participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer for the 3rd straight year! Each year I ride for family members, friends, and those loved ones of my donors who have courageously fought Cancer in their lives. While signing up for the ride and completing the 250km journey is a significant challenge, it pales in comparison to the daily challenge of those who have cancer.
This year, with the birth of my daughter Emma, I find myself further motivated to support the BC Cancer Foundation in the hopes that any and all cancer research funded by the RTCC will find the answers to treating many forms of this disease.
Please contribute to this powerful movement with a donation! Funds raised through the Ride to Conquer Cancer will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at the BC Cancer Agency, bringing hope to cancer patients in B.C. and beyond. Every donation counts, so please donate what you can to this worthy cause!
Please feel free to share a story or the name of a loved one that has inspired your donation. On ride day I won't just be riding for those in my immediate family that have fought cancer, I will be riding for yours as well!
To my previous donors,
So far we have raised over $8,500 towards critical cancer research in our province!! This year I will be aiming to surpass $11,500 in total funds raised over my 3 years of participation. Your continued support allows me to take part in this amazing event each year, and I hope to once again receive your support for this years Ride to Conquer Cancer!
Thank you in advance for your help.
