Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer
I grew up in a family that put a heavy emphasis on the value of family. They are always there for you, helping you through the hard times and adding to the fun and enjoyment of the good times. I remember spending summers with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins playing and creating great memories that will last a lifetime. Cancer has picks battles with my famil, some of those battles have been won and some of those battles have been lost. I ride with the Wheelin' Warriors of the North in the BC Ride to Conquer Cancer so that the family members that lost their battles are remembered and the members of my family that are battling or will most likely battle with cancer will have a better chance at winning their battles.
Now with my own little family this ride means more to me. I ride with the Wheelin' Warriors of the North in the BC Ride to Conquer Cancer, because my family history tells me that my wife, daughters, or myself have a high chance of getting cancer. If there is a cure to be found or a treatment to help others with their battles then I ride for them as well. Please contribute to this powerful movement with a donation. Funds raised through the Ride to Conquer Cancer will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at the BC Cancer Agency, bringing hope to cancer patients in B.C.
My third year in this ride is dedicated to two people inparticular. The first is Maria Macedo great aunt to my wife and great great aunt to my daughters. She is finishing her battle with cancer on a winning note. The second person I ride for is Barbara Cailleaux who is just starting her battle with cancer.
Thank you in advance for your help.
