Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer®
For those of you that know me, you either may or may not know that I have lost numerous people to the deadly disease known as cancer. WIth the most important person being my Mom, I miss her so much!!! Although I know there is nothing I can do to regain the lives of those whom I lost to cancer, what I can do is bring awareness and try to get one step closer toward putting end to this disease. So it is now a personal mission of mine; I can and WILL do something to BEAT CANCER! As long as I have something to do with it, I will put forth my efforts in hopes of one day hearing the words “CANCER NO LONGER EXIST” so that no one else’s mother, father, sister, brother, son, cousin, niece, nephew, grandmother or best friend will no longer be taken away by this deadly disease.
I have committed to raising 2,500 and I will be riding my bike 250 km on an epic journey known as The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation.
I ask for your financial contribution so that I can continue my journey to ultimately find a cure for cancer within our lifetime. In the next 4 weeks 14,000 Canadians will sit down in front of their doctors and hear the words “You have cancer.” Some will survived the disease, some will not; but each of us knows a friend, relative, work colleague or other loved one who has been struck by cancer and each of us has felt the pain of watching someone struggling to stay alive. For them, and for those who will come after, please give what you can to help develop cancer research right here in Vancouver and know that your contribution will have wide-ranging benefits.
Please contribute to this history-making event. Every dollar will help, no matter how large or small of a donation you can make as part of your annual giving. Please be a part of my journey & make a tax-deductible donation today. Although cancer may have taken away my family & friends one thing cancer cannot take away is my FIGHT!
Below is a list of those in my life who have had to bear this bout with cancer. Needless to say I will be riding in honor of them. As the years go by my only hope is to not allow this list to get any longer…
Again, I think you in advance for your contribution
