Dennis Rides to Conquer Cancer
Support Our Ride to Conquer Cancer
We’ve all been touched by cancer in some way. As some of you may know, my wife, Chelsea was recently diagnosed with follicular lymphoma. This ride is a particularly inspiring one for me this year as a result. I am riding to help support the multiple treatments, tests, research and efforts that go in to saving people's lives every day. My wife and I are consistently reminded how fortunate we are to have leading-edge treatments available to us at no cost; it is through this ride and your generous donations that the BC Cancer Foundation has been able to make this available.
By working together to support research and advancement in the battle against cancer, we have made significant improvements in the outlook and survival rate of cancer patients. It’s essential to continue this fight and keep funding initiatives that will one day find cures for all forms of cancer.
In support of this cause, as well as those close to me who've been touched by cancer, I have joined a two-day, 250 kilometer, cycling journey from Cloverdale to Seattle. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!
Please contribute what you can spare. Funds raised through the Ride to Conquer Cancer will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at the BC Cancer Agency, bringing hope to cancer patients in B.C. and beyond.
Thank you in advance for your help.
