Riding for my Aunty Marg and Mom
Riding in Memory
On April 29th 2017 my beloved Aunty Marg passed away from cancer. Diagnosed in March of 2016 initially with breast cancer she fought a hard battle for 10 months and was given a clean bill of health only to find out a month later that the cancer had returned and was incurable.
She was the best Aunt that any nephew could ask for. Her zest for life, generosity and infectious laugh are just some of the things I miss the most.
Even though Im only 3 weeks removed from completing Ironman I have been invited by my friend Jason Pires to join him and his colleagues at Team CTV to take on this challenge. The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation, is a two-day cycling journey of 250km from Vancouver to Seattle.
I kindly ask you to make a donation, big or small to my journey in her memory and and in memory of my Mother Lynn who passed away in 1997 from breast cancer at only 38 years old.
Thank you for your support of my ride and helping me in the battle against cancer.
