We are on a conquest. We have decided to team up for the Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation.
The Ride is an epic, two-day cycling event taking place in August that spans ~250 kilometers from Vancouver to Seattle!
The money we raise for the Ride to Conquer Cancer will benefit the BC Cancer Foundation and support leading clinicians, scientists, and researchers whose search for new discoveries and improved patient outcomes will have a real impact in our communities throughout the province, across Canada, and around the world.
This is the inaugural year of Team McKinley Momentum (and only John has completed the Ride before!)
We are all dusting off our bikes (or have gotten new ones!) to ride in memory of the loved ones that we have lost to cancer, to celebrate those that have beaten it, and to raise funds so that people in the future have an even better chance to beat it. Check out our personal pages for more.
Since 2009, the Ride has raised $70 million for the BC Cancer Foundation and is B.C.’s largest cycling fundraiser.
This can be your opportunity to do something challenging and rewarding in so many ways. And you won’t do it alone. We will be doing training rides, helping each other fundraise and generating awareness for critical cancer research.
Please donate to any of us or, better yet, join us! Any amount is appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support!
The BC Cancer Foundation is the largest charitable funder of cancer research in the province, supporting leading-edge cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency that has a direct impact in improving cancer care across the province.
