We are on a conquest. We have decided to team up for the Ride to Conquer Cancer, presented by Silver Wheaton benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation. This is a very special and meaningful year to us, we are all family and friends of Artie Kingsnorth. Four years ago Artie, his daughter Amber, father Art, and friends John and Mark rode together. That ride was such an emotional and meaningful ride that Artie and John committed to do it for five years. In the past few years we've had other friends join us riding through rain, cold, injuries, and the year of the wind. Last year Artie had raised his money, done the long training rides and was determined to ride but a change in his treatment made it impossible for him to do so. He was determined to be there though and his wife Ida and daughter Amber and friends brought him down to the finish line on the Sunday so that he could cross the finish line with us. We lost Artie two days later. So we ride. We ride Artie's fifth year to honour him and raise money to fight cancer. This years team is the biggest we've ever had so please support our team by donating to help find a cure for this evil which has taken too many loved ones and friends.

The Ride is an epic, two-day cycling event taking place in August that spans over 200 kilometers!
The money we raise for the Ride to Conquer Cancer will benefit the BC Cancer Foundation and support leading clinicians, scientists, and researchers whose search for new discoveries and improved patient outcomes will have a real impact in our communities throughout the province, across Canada, and around the world.
Since 2009, the Ride has raised $70 million for the BC Cancer Foundation and is B.C.’s largest cycling fundraiser.
This can be your opportunity to do something challenging and rewarding in so many ways. And you won’t do it alone. We will be doing training rides, helping each other fundraise and generating awareness for critical cancer research.
Please donate to us or join us. Thank you in advance for your support!
The BC Cancer Foundation is the largest charitable funder of cancer research in the province, supporting leading-edge cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency that has a direct impact in improving cancer care across the province.
