2017 Vancouver RTCC

Team Prince Rupert

Since it’s inception 9 years ago the B.C. Ride to Conquer Cancer has always had Prince Rupert participation. This year will be no different, but we need your assistance.

In August Team Prince Rupert will join approximately 3,000 other cyclists from around British Columbia, as we bicycle from Vancouver to Seattle over 2 days to raise funds and awareness for cancer research and prevention.

We are like you, in that each of us has a personal story of how cancer has affected our lives. Members of the team have become a source of support and a resource in our community for information and encouragement in this crusade to eliminate cancer. We are out there collecting bottles, taking friends to chemo appointments, visiting people in the hospital, sharing our stories, riding our bikes and fighting cancer.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from our community. We know not everyone is able to, or wants to ride, but there are so many ways to be a part of this team, to this end we are seeking a donation from you.

The fight against cancer won’t be done by one person but by all of us coming together.
Please help us make this our most successful fundraising year yet.

You have the gratitude of our entire team for your participation. Thank you from
Francis Wolfe, Gordie Simonds, Sandy Giordano, Chris Last, Steve Weir,
Christa Simonds, Omar Cruz, Kerrie Kennedy, Janess Iverson, Dayna Tait,
and first time riders Joseph Giordano, Emma Hay and Bill Parmar.
