The Joint Department of Medical Imaging cycling team is heading into its fourth straight year. We are taking part in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer fundraising event benefiting Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. It’s a challenging cycling journey through Ontario's countryside in the month of June each year whereby every rider has to raise a minimum of $2500 in order to earn their way into the ride. Because of this; to date the ride has generated close to $160 million in support of cancer research!
We come from all walks of life and ride for various reasons, but we are brought together by a common cause. We’re here because we know that cancer is too big a disease to ignore, it is part of our personal and professional lives. It affects everyone, maybe you, me, our parents, kids, siblings, relatives or friends. But by riding in this event we are doing something about it. We’re rolling closer and closer to the end of cancer. It’s an awesome triumph in a physical sense and emotionally as well.
Please support the team in reaching our fundraising goals. This can be your opportunity to be part of our journey. We will be doing training rides, helping each other to fundraise, and generating awareness for critical cancer research at Princess Margaret, one of the top 5 cancer research hospitals in the world.
Please donate and support our collective dream to conquer cancer. Thank you in advance for your support.
