Because I Can!
One reason I enrolled in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer is because my mother lost her battle with pancreatic cancer in 1980 at the young age of 46. The prime of her life.
For almost 40 years the survival rate of this type of cancer has not changed significantly, so I have asked that the donations made in my name be used for research in this field.
The other reason is that I am grateful to have the health and the will to be able to cycle 240 Km at the age of 55.
.....and I'm psyched! :)
The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Segal Cancer Centre at the Jewish General Hospital is a cycling journey through Quebec's countryside that I'm embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!
Contribute to this history-making event with a donation. Funds raised in The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at the Jewish General Hospital.
Thank you in advance for your help.
