Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer
Welcome to my Personal Page!
I discovered this event through a friend who invited me to volunteer with my motorcycle to assure safety of the cyclists last summer. Through that week-end, I got touched by all that energy and determination in participating in this fight for cancer. We had bad weather for both days and the cyclist still continued as they could till they crossed the finish line. Not all of them had the proper equipment against that weather, many mecanical problems, many falls, but all of them kept hanging on. If I could only have seen people like that while I was battling against cancer in 1986, it would have giving me so much strengh which I needed in many occasions.
I have been touched by a Birkitt's lymphoma in summer of 1986 in which I received the mention of survivant five years after that. Two years after my diagnosist, my mother received one for breast cancer. Sadly, in her case, the cancer took her from us in 1991 in my arms. Today, most of the people touched by brest cancer survives and that is all because of the ones that bring a difference in this battle.

The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Segal Cancer Centre at the Jewish General Hospital is a cycling journey through Quebec’s countryside that I’m embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!
