1, 2, 3 ... Let's bike for Cancer!!!
The first time I heard about the Ride to Concer Cancer, they said it was a 200km cycling journey through Quebec’s beautiful countryside to raise funds for cancer research. Since I like biking and challenges, I decided to register for the July 2016 edition.
Summary of my experience: imagine biking 230km in pouring rain with an average temperature of 17 degrees. Beautiful countryside they said?? It was more a distribution of thermal blankets to slow down hypothermia. Nevertheless, I keep good memories of this event where over 1,200 people got together because of a common goal: Fight cancer!!!
So here I am, ready to put on my helmet and jump on my bike for this new edition of the Endbridge Ride to Concer Cancer benefiting the Segal Cancer Centre at the Jewish General Hospital.
Contribute to this history-making event with a donation. On my end, I promise to bike even if Mother Nature decides it could be fun to have a Snowstorm in July (good deal no?). Funds raised in The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at the Jewish General Hospital.
Thank you in advance for your help.
