For All The Bubbies Out There!!!
Welcome to my Personal page and thank you for taking the time to visit. This is my 3rd time riding. I've had several health complications and thanks to the fantastic care from the Jewish General Hospital I can participate in this wonderful ride!
I'm dedicating this ride to My Bubbi staying true to her spirit. Bubs had 2 bouts with cancer and survived them both :)
She passed away July 6th 2015 at 93 years of age! She was the kindest, most nicest person and I miss her very much.
She's my best friend and was always there to talk to and never lied or sugar coated anything, I always get the best advice from Bubs! Good, honest and truthful words from the heart. When bubs fell ill and had to go to the hospital, she was battling several health complications but through it all she still found a way to show her charm, by smiling and cracking jokes whenever she could. I specifically remember going to visit her in the hospital with my brother Michael, and we asked her how she was doing and she said with a big smile,'what could be better? - I have 2 beautiful boys here with me!'
It's no wonder that I dedicated my upcoming Ride to Conquer Cancer to such an amazing woman,
and I know she'll be watching me from where she is, pushing me when the finish line seems impossibly far.
This Year I am riding along side my girlfriend and her father who are both on Immune Force One Cycling team to Conquer Cancer. With our bikes and helmets and your support together we can and will make a difference! Thank you for opening your hearts for a good cause and supporting me in this fight!
Let's do it for Bubs!
