I decided to challenge myself to do something epic for the year I turn 50. This ride is more than a epic journey it is a ride that not only allowed my sister had the courage to complete with her son after loosing her husband months before the ride. My sister has been a huge motivator providing me with inspiring words and pushes me to push myself to be the best person I can be. I remember the day we met her at the finish line after she completed her ride she said to me that I need to do something epic like this once in my life. So years have passed and the time has come for me to take on this challenge. At first my sister wasn't sure she would be able to join me. The best Christmas gift of all came to me just before Christmas 2019. I received a phone call from my sister telling me she is joining me and this is how the team was formed. Cancer has impacted so many lives and continues to daily. To name a few I have relatives and neighbours whom I call family right down to my workplace that cancer has impacted their lives.
It's not the distance I go that will make a lasting impact – it's the donation support you provide to my Ride. Whatever you're able to give, THANK YOU. Every dollar you donate means a dollar more to one day conquering cancer.
I really believe we can achieve this goal, and it's through your generosity that we'll be able to do it!
