A disease that touches so very many
We have all encountered this disease. It seems so prevalent. My wife lost her father to leukemia, a good friend lost his mother. Then recently, it took a close family friend and a first cousin, both active healthy women in their 40s. Co-workers are locked in their own battles. and in the past year Ian Murray succumbed.
Thankfully we win too. There are many stories where people survive, succeed, thrive... just not enough of them. I want more of those stories. I cannot personally do the science required to advance treatment or a cure. But I CAN donate and then get on my bike and do SOMETHING. Part of my "something" is to ask you to do something as well. Please donate.
This is my fifth year doing the ride. It is a challenge, but at the same time, being around so many people dealing with cancer was strong motivation to ride again . THEY deal with Cancer every day . I can ride . YOU can donate.
Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer
Welcome to my Personal Page! The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Alberta Cancer Foundation is a cycling journey along the majestic Canadian Rockies, that I'm embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!
Contribute to this history-making event with a donation. Funds raised in The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at the Alberta Cancer Foundation, a leader in cancer research and treatment.
Thank you in advance for your help.
